Joe Bird, in conjunction with the board of directors, oversees Link’s business development, strategic planning, relationship management and operations. In addition to his role at LinkCapital, Bird also acts as the director of business development at Iowa Student Loan. His work experience includes management-level positions at a guaranty agency, secondary market, loan servicer and college access organization. Bird earned a bachelor's degree in education at Morningside College and a master's degree in higher education administration at Iowa State University.

Katharine manages all of the processes and services related to loan origination and servicing, as well as identifying strategic growth objectives for Link. Katharine has worked in the financial services industry for over eight years. At J.P. Morgan, she worked as a financial advisor for high net worth individuals in the private bank, after being an investment banker in the insurance practice. Katharine began her career at American Express in strategic planning roles as well as marketing and product management. Katharine holds an MBA from Wharton and a BA from Harvard University.

Rich leads Link’s capital markets capital raising activities and manages the bank and investor relations. Rich joins Link with almost 20 years of broad capital markets experience, including investment banking and sales and trading at bulge bracket investment banking firms. Most recently, Rich was a Director at Barclays Capital. Specific areas of expertise include fixed income investments, capital markets, derivatives, municipal bonds, public finance, higher education finance and asset management. Rich has both an MBA and BS in Economics.

Emily is responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day operations as well as leading strategy, marketing, and user experience for Link’s consumer products. Emily’s career spans over 13 years, most of which was spent in key-operational and marketing roles. She's led the growth of three enterprises, two of which she owned. Specific areas of expertise include operations, strategic growth, e-commerce, marketing strategy, and graphic design. Emily holds a BA in Media Arts and Business Administration from the University of Arizona.

Dana holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a MPPA from Northwestern University.

Chris is responsible for coordinating with third party referral groups and managing the onboarding and legal review process with Health Systems. He joined Link after spending nearly 10 years as a lawyer defending doctors, hospitals and other medical professionals against claims of medical malpractice. His litigation experience makes him keenly aware and sympathetic to the unique challenges and concerns that health professionals face. Chris received a JD from Wayne State University Law School and a BA in economics and political science from Hope College.

Most recently, she was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Health Care REIT, Inc, and previously worked at Ventas REIT, Ziegler Capital Markets and Bank of America. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance and a Math minor from Saint Mary's of Notre Dame.

Peter is responsible for managing projects with the support of finance and operations leadership. Peter has been focused on system integration, liaising with technology partners to implement procedures for forecasting and reporting. He has also developed interactive tools to enhance user experience. Peter holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University.

Anne Donahoe is an experienced financial executive in the capital markets with specific knowledge and expertise in debt financing and the healthcare sector. She has worked as an independent financial advisor since January 2004, delivering optimal financing solutions along with strategic and financial advice to hospitals, healthcare systems, nursing homes, private schools, municipal authorities, and similar organizations. Anne has over 30 years of experience in the financial markets working as an investment banker with companies such as Ziegler Securities. Currently a member of The Economic Club of Chicago and the Healthcare Financial Management Association, she is also a graduate of Boston College (BA) and The University of Pittsburgh (M.Ed.; MBA), and holds a Certificate in Mergers and Acquisitions from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Ken Hanover has over three decades of experience in hospital and health care management. He has served as the president and CEO of major health care delivery systems in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Massachusetts and has a successful track record of strategically repositioning the product portfolio, service mix and market distribution of these organizations to build market share, enhance clinical quality, and drive financial performance. Ken has played a major role in health policy formulation as a member of the American Hospital Association Task Force on Health Care Reform, a former chairman of the Ohio Hospital Association’s Committee on Health Policy and Advocacy, and as former chairman of the Greater Cincinnati Hospital Council. Mr. Hanover holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA and a master´s degree in Public Administration from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

Chris Hill is a serial entrepreneur and active angel investor. Chris founded Spotlite in 2012 to provide consumers with the education and guidance to make health benefits decisions that best fit their personal needs. In 2014, Spotlite was acquired by Rally Health (owned by UnitedHealth Group). Chris founded PerkSpot in 2006 and currently serves as its Chairman. PerkSpot provides employee perks and buying programs to more than 5 million employees from large employers including Starbucks, Yahoo!, Southwest, and Walgreens. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Chris spent five years working in investment banking and private equity. Chris is a graduate of Taylor University.

In 2014, he launched 4Sight Health, a boutique firm specializing in healthcare thought capital, strategic advisory services and venture investing to spotlight and assist companies delivering better healthcare at lower prices in customer-friendly settings. He is also the author of “Market versus Medicine: America’s Battle for Better Healthcare at Lower Prices”, as well as the author-in-residence at The Health Management Academy and a regular commentator for “Modern Healthcare's” digital edition.

Trent Kramer has over 17 years of experience in healthcare management with a concentration in finance, insurance, information technology and marketing. As Vice President, Chief Administrative and Development Officer at Stratum Med, Trent has direct responsibility over the establishment of Stratum’s strategic partnerships and program development. A licensed insurance producer, he also provides support and oversight to Stratum Brokerage Company, LLC, a wholly owned insurance brokerage firm. Trent serves as Executive Director of Northwest Medical Group Alliance, a trade group of Washington state's largest, independent, multispecialty group practices. The primary charter of the organization is to generate creative, yet practical initiatives which promote the success and sustainability of independent group practices. Prior to joining Stratum, he served as Executive Director of a Midwest-based Physician Organization owned by over 150 physicians. Additionally, he shared responsibility in the management and the operations of a Physician/Hospital Organization in Central Illinois. Trent attended the University of Illinois for both his undergraduate and graduate studies where he earned a BS in Finance and a master’s in Business Administration.

Paul Wiles led Novant Health as CEO, from its formation through the merger of Carolina Medicorp, Inc. and Presbyterian Healthcare in 1997, until his retirement in 2011. Paul was a first lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Medical Service Corps from 1971 to 1974. He holds a masters of hospital administration degree from Duke University and a BA in business administration from St. Michael’s College in Winooski, Vermont.

Before joining the city, she was co-founder and President of the firm, Scott Balice Strategies LLC that in just eight years became one of the largest financial advisory firms in the country. Lois earned her bachelor’s and MBA at Cornell University by the age of 22. Lois serves on the board of several organizations, including Children’s Memorial Hospital, Leadership Greater Chicago, National Louis University, Better Government Association, Homeboyz Interactive and the North Avenue Day Nursery.

Dr. Daniel K. Zismer is the Managing Director and co-founder of Castling Partners, LLC. Prior to Castling Partners, Dr. Zismer served as the Wegmiller Professor and Chair for the Masters in Healthcare Administration and Executive Studies Programs, School of Public Health, University of Minnesota. He also holds an adjunct faculty position with the School of Medicine. Dr. Zismer has over 20 years of experience in health system mergers and acquisitions and has served in senior leadership positions for large, integrated health systems. His areas of teaching and research interests are those relating to the design, strategy, operations, and financial performance of integrated health systems. He has authored and co-authored over 100 professional publications and was named by Minnesota Physician as one of the most influential healthcare leaders in Minnesota.
